Lucy is now in the hospital to get her J-tube switched to a G-tube, into her stomach. We hope it's a short visit. We also have to address her severe reflux and if surgery is the right option to help correct it. We dread putting Lucy through another surgery, but if it's something that she needs, then we have to do what's best. Please keep her in your thoughts this week.

thinking of you guys and hoping the g-tube surgery goes well!!! i really hope she doesn't have to have the nissen procedure! (spelling of 'nissen?') whitney had TERRIBLE reflux and you have probably already tried everything, but we found the combination of prilosec w/ reglan (to help the motility from the stomach to the intestines) seemed to help!
by the way - i LOVE the mohawk!!! Whitney had a "kickin'" mohawk as well... check it out, if you have a minute :) http://acbyron.blogspot.com/2009/06/bye-bye-mohawk.html
Hope all is well with Lucy's g-tube surgery!!!

you all are.

the usual litany of hope and big big huge love to you all
This is Joyce. So thinking of you and the roller coaster of emotions always involved with surgeries. Hope it goes well and they came relieve some of that reflux.
I just found your blog, looks and sounds so much like my Addy! Praying things go well! Addy had a JG tube and had no problem switching to the G, so good luck!
Keeping you and Lucy in our thoughts and prayers. Hoping for a short visit and a quick return home.
Holding good thoughts that everything works out well for dear little Lucy Kate.
Keeping all of you in our prayers. Hoping all went well and little Lucy is progressing. She's a cutie pie!
