Long Time Coming

At last we are finally home!!! After 75 days in the hospital, our little Lucy is home where she belongs. We were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, April 14th (the most beautiful day in history). Needless to say, we were overcome with emotion when we hit the door. At one point in the beginning of our journey we weren't sure if our little family would get the chance to be together at home, or if Lu would get to see her beautiful room, sleep under the tree her daddy painted for her, or feel the softness of her very own sheets. But from the moment Lucy entered this world she has had such a spirit about her that wouldn't have it any other way. Now that we're all home we can start to be the family that we've dreamed of being. Thank you to everyone who has loved us, supported our family, and sent prayers and thoughts our way.
